Federal Budget Announcement 2024-2025

AustraliaMigrate would like to inform our clients and visitors about a significant update from the Australian Federal Budget for the financial year 2024-2025. The government has announced the removal of the entire Business Innovation and Investment Visa Program (BIIP). This means that the Business Innovation and Investment visas will no longer be available.

Key Details:

  • Program Cease Date: The Business Innovation and Investment Visa Program will officially cease operations. Details are to be confirmed.
  • Refunds Available: Visa application charges will be refunded from September 2024 for those who wish to withdraw their BIIP application (Budget paper 2, p 136).
