Katz and John applied for an Employer Nominated Sponsorship Visa and successfully got their Permanent Residency in 2007. The couple are settled in Melbourne, Australia.

We moved to Australia with only suitcases (and sentimental items), and have virtually bought everything from scratch including our large detached townhouse, two cars and all our media/furnishings.

While in Adelaide and Melbourne we had attended two immigration agents to gauge the complications and expense of the next step of settling in Australia. However, on personal recommendation from one of Katz’s colleagues we visited Mr Ian Singer in Sydney.

“We bought a townhouse on the Mornington Peninsula, and enjoy walks on the pristine beaches and nature reserve only ten minutes walk from our home.”

Ian and the team at AustraliaMigrate made the ‘mountain of paperwork’ seems to disappear and provided the knowledge and empathy to present our case, and in particular our de-facto status, which was handled without any further query.

As speed was of the essence, AustraliaMigrate made it their priority. Our Visa was processed most efficiently, and we took up residence in November 2007.

We enjoy the variety of wonderful surf and bay beaches, wineries and olive farms, alpine quality ski resorts (2 ½ hours drive), and being close to a world class marvellous Melbourne.

Katz has recently been granted Australian citizenship; I am completing the formalities in September. We plan to make Australia our permanent lifetime home.
